I am originally from Bayport, New York. When I finished high school, I received a track scholarship from Western Carolina University in North Carolina. After my sophomore year, I decided to transfer to Johnson State College which brought me to Vermont in 1990. I just received a masters degree from the University of Vermont this past spring.
Currently, I live in Bakersfield with my husband, two boys, cat and dog. My oldest son Robbie just started high school and my youngest son Riley is in seventh grade.
When I am at home, I love to garden and cook! I also love to watch football with my family. Just like Mr. Cook, my favorite team is the New York Giants. One of my most favorite hobbies is running! I have been a runner since I was eleven. I have completed in several races and marathons. My two favorite marathons were the NYC and Boston.
This is my fifth year at St. Albans City School. I love being a part of this learning community and I am looking forward to the new adventures coming for this school year.
