Yellows Class

This is a wonderful class for your child's first preschool experience.  The main focus in the 2-year-old class is on the social and emotional development of the very young child. Through a variety of activities and nurturing guidance the children are free to explore and create. Verbal skills advance, and pre-science and math concepts are introduced.  In September there is a gradual schedule to ease the children into the school year. There is also an extra parent in the classroom for the first month of school. There is no requirement to be toilet trained (as is the case for all Meekins classes).  When your child is ready for that step, the teachers assist in the process.

For the 2019-2020 school year:

Children with birthdays between the ages of 2 and 3 are eligible.

The Tuition is $1845 for the school year, broken down to $205 per month.

This class meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. The teacher is Mrs. Schulenberg (Yellows) and the teacher's aide is Mrs. Buxton (Yellows/Greens Aide)

The maximum enrollment for this class is 14 children.  There are always three adults in the classroom, the teacher, an aide, and a parent making the adult to child ration (1:4.7).  Parents with a child in this class co-op in the school approximately 8 times during the school year.
