I am one of the 6 grade teachers at Fayette Elementary. I have been
teaching for 27 years. I received my undergraduate teaching degree from Morehead State University at Morehead, Ky. I later finished my master's degree from Arizona State University, home of the Arizona Sundevils.

My wife and I are the proud parents of 5 boys that have all attended Fayette Schools.

Mission for the class

My mission is to provide every student with the environment necessary 
to be as successful as they want to be. When we all work hard, good things can happen.

Schedule for sixth grade:

7:50- 8:00-  homeroom


9:00- 9:50- Social Studies

9:53- 10:43-Specials

10:46- 11:13- Recess

11:13-11:43-  Lunch

11:43- 1:04-  English/Language Arts

1:07-1:57-  Math

2:00- 2:50- Science


I will not usually give homework on Wednesday or Friday.  Once in a while I may give a test on Thursday,which means that they may need to study for a test on Wednesday.  Most of the homework will be in Math.  I will try to make the assignments short and concise.   Most assignments will be a continuation of material that we covered in class in previous sessions.  The Math homework assignments will typically be on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
