3.1 Intelligence

Intelligence is the “exchange of knowledge, information, opinion, etc.” (Oxford English Dictionary). You gather  intelligence from the world outside your farm for many reasons, such as finding out how to do something. Having a specific subject to focus on and sources of information to explore will facilitate your search for intelligence. Sources of intelligence could be books, websites, conferences, experts, or people you know.

When you hear of useful subjects and sources, a useful intelligence-gathering activity could be to record these in a document.
