Sign Up Wizard

Questions about the sign up process? Check out these FAQs!
  1. How do I begin? How does this work?

Very simple. As you start selecting things (pick-up sites, shares, options, etc.) your selections will appear in the "Summary" area. As you progress through the steps, you will see your entire order take shape.

  2. How do I get back to the signup wizard from this Help window (or from some other page)?

Depending on your browser settings, this window has either opened up in a separate Tab or Window. Just look for and click on the "Signup Wizard" tab (or window) to make it active/get back to where you were. The same holds true if you clicked on any link that sends you to page outside the wizard.

  3. How do I make the 'View Details' window go away so I can get back to the sign-up screen?

Just click on the X in a circle in the upper right-hand corner of the details window.

  4. How do I add more than one Share or Option?

After you click the "Add" button, it reads "More". Simply click on "More". Each time you click on it, it will increase the quantity by 1.

  5. How do I remove Shares or Options?

To remove a Share or Option, simply click on the X next to the share/option name in the summary box. If you have more than one of an item, clicking the X will remove all of that item. If you just want to change the quantity, you can select the quantity in the summary box and type the correct quantity.

    • Note that you have to be on the corresponding "step" in order to change (add/remove) that item. Use the "Back" and "Next Step" buttons and observe the changes in the "Summary" window. You will quickly get the hang of it.

  6. How does the map part of "Choose your pick-up site" work?

The map pinpoints each of our pick-up sites (or to the nearest intersection, in order to protect the privacy of site hosts). It is a standard Google map; you can enter a zip code to find pick-up sites in that area, then zoom in if you like. Click on any 'pin' on the map and it will name the site, give you a description of its location... and even allow you to select it as your location, if you like.

  7. The wizard won't let me click on "Go to next step" -- it's grayed out. Why is that?

This only happens in steps where you are required to select something. For example, you can't just order "Options", you have to order at least one "Share" to progress to "Add Options". And you must select a pick-up site. Can't skip that either!

  8. Why do I have to sign in? I never had to do that before.

Once you have done this (and then in the next step, given your Contact Info), it remembers your contact info for any future sign-ups, so you don't have to re-enter everything. It also allows you to log in to your account and view your payment and delivery history, review/edit your contact info, see instructions for your pick up site, and/or change your order.

  9. How do I give you contact info for my share-splitter if I'm splitting with someone?

You can add a secondary account holder when you enter contact information. If you are splitting a share with another household, please call or email the farm.

  10. The pick-up site I want is not on the available locations list. What do I do?

You will need to choose a site from the "Available Locations" list. However, please also choose the site you really want from the "Wait List Locations" list. This lets the farm know that there is additional interest for picking up in that area, and new sites should be considered.

  11. Payment security and privacy: is this site secure for processing payments?

There are two precautions in place to ensure your payments are completely secure. We work with a bank to process electronic check transactions, and with credit card companies and/or PayPal to process credit card payment transactions. All of these partners protect your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. Whether you pay via electronic check, credit card or PayPal, your financial information is not shared with the farm or with Farmigo.

In addition, we have implemented Transport Layer Security (TLS). TLS ensures communication across the Internet prevents eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery. TLS provides endpoint authentication and communications confidentiality over the Internet using cryptography.
