Questions about the sign up process? Check out these FAQs!
The map pinpoints each of our pick-up sites (or to the nearest intersection, in order to protect the privacy of site hosts). It is a standard Google map; you can enter a zip code to find pick-up sites in that area, then zoom in if you like. Click on any 'pin' on the map and it will name the site, give you a description of its location... and even allow you to select it as your location, if you like.
This only happens in steps where you are required to select something. For example, you can't just order "Options", you have to order at least one "Share" to progress to "Add Options". And you must select a pick-up site. Can't skip that either!
Once you have done this (and then in the next step, given your Contact Info), it remembers your contact info for any future sign-ups, so you don't have to re-enter everything. It also allows you to log in to your account and view your payment and delivery history, review/edit your contact info, see instructions for your pick up site, and/or change your order.
You can add a secondary account holder when you enter contact information. If you are splitting a share with another household, please call or email the farm.
You will need to choose a site from the "Available Locations" list. However, please also choose the site you really want from the "Wait List Locations" list. This lets the farm know that there is additional interest for picking up in that area, and new sites should be considered.
Payment security and privacy: is this site secure for processing payments?
There are two precautions in place to ensure your payments are completely secure. We work with a bank to process electronic check transactions, and with credit card companies and/or PayPal to process credit card payment transactions. All of these partners protect your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. Whether you pay via electronic check, credit card or PayPal, your financial information is not shared with the farm or with Farmigo.
In addition, we have implemented Transport Layer Security (TLS). TLS ensures communication across the Internet prevents eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery. TLS provides endpoint authentication and communications confidentiality over the Internet using cryptography.
