School House ROCKS!

School House Rocks 3 Ring Circus

A three ring circus... I think that's a GREAT way to explain our nations government. It takes a lot of juggles, a great ring leader and some big acts to make our country run :-)

Welcome To Washington

I think I'd like these guys to be my tour guides next time I visit D.C :-)

This rap is a fun way to learn a bit more about the city, its monuments and the history of our nations capital.

Band Performance

Way to go room 319 and the entire 4th grade band! It was so great to have the opportunity to share the band concert with you on Wednesday evening. It was evident that you worked so hard this year in learning to play your instruments! I am so proud of each of you!!! (i have many more videos and will post them as soon as I can get them merged ;-) I hope that you all take advantage of the opportunities at Morse Pond to continue with your instrument, learn a new one or even advance to the Jazz Band!

The Great Butterfly Release

Butterfly Release

Yesterday we released our butterfly family! It was such a great experience to get to see the butterfly life cycle first hand! We watched as the larvea emerged, headed up to the top to form their crystalis, hung out while completing their metamorphasis, shook about to begin their emersion, emerged before our eyes, lived with us as we observed them and then were released to live a free life.

FLY BUTTERFLIES FLY!!!

Thank you so much to the Glidden family for the generous donation that made this experience possible  :-)
