Hello Friends!

It's homecoming week!!

That means that all band alumni are welcome to attend the festivities.

The one and only practice will be THIS THURSDAY at 7 pm in the HS band room.
Report time Friday is 5:45 (for a fun alumni reception including yummy baked goods and scrap books!) Wear jeans and a navy blue Fairless shirt!

Please fill out this Google Form  to RSVP!  I will be gathering instruments from other local schools on Wednesday afternoon.

5th grade band info!
I understand your child is interested in 5th grade band!  That is excellent news.  Here are a few things to know.

Lessons will begin on Monday, November 6 at 7:38 am.
Flutes- Monday
Clarinet and Saxes-Tues
Trombone- Wed
Percussion- Fri

If your child currently rides a bus, they are more than welcome ride the HS/MS bus to the middle school.  Once band is over, the district will be providing a bus to take all of the band students to the Elementary school by 8:15 am.  This ensures that they are still able to eat breakfast or be a part of other early morning activities.  If you would like your student to ride the HS/MS bus, please contact valerie wiles at and give her your bus number and the day of the week you will be attending band.

All band students need to have an instrument by the first lesson.  There are a number of ways to go about this.  The two most reputable ways are either Don Lazar Music of Canton, or Pellegrino Music of Canton.  Both locations currently serve us here at Fairless.  They visit the school weekly, meaning you would probably not have to go to the store to pick up supplies/instrument, as they will deliver.

If you have any other questions, feel free to send me an email
