Welcome back to Excel for the 2017/2018 School Year!  I am very excited to work with your students in the Art Studio this year!  We have a lot of great projects and experiences planned and we will love helping your students creative talents grow!  We will be working on the Original Works Fundraiser as our first project!  Look for more information about this to come home soon!

IMPORTANT NOTE:  All students need a sketchbook for their art class.  Sketchbooks are used quite frequently and they make a great keepsakes of your students time in Art and at Excel.  Please make sure your student brings a sketchbook to the art studio ASAP!  If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Humrich.  The ideal sketchbook is a 9" x 12" with a heavy spiral binding on the side.  Students may re-use sketchbooks from previous years if they are not filled up!

Art Competition Information

Original Works Info:

Here you will find important Original Works

Original Works is the fundraiser that helps us buy art supplies.
The Original Works packets have been sent home. Each K-5th grade student completed a piece of art during art class. You may use the artwork that came home with the packet, or your student can create a different piece of art for you to order from Original Works. If you create a different piece, please be sure to follow the requirements found in the packet.

6-8 grade students were given the opportunity to take a packet home and create a piece of artwork outside of class. If you would like to order from Original Works and your student did not bring home a packet, you can get a packet from Mrs. Humrich.
