Makeup Work:  Students are allowed two days for each day they are absent, to make up their missing work for full credit.  This extension does not apply to long term assignments that have prearranged due dates.  It is the student's responsibility to make a time to meet with each teacher to get their missing assignments and notes.

Late Work:  If an assignment is turned in one day late it will receive a deduction of 25%, two days late it will get 50% off, and after that it will be worth zero credit.  The grade will be marked as "late" on Infinite Campus.  Students receive two late passes per subject, per semester, that they can use for short term assignments.

Eligibility for Optional Extended Field Studies:   Every student that registers for the optional extended field study must turn in 75% of their assignments in every class, for every session.  Students not meeting this eligibility requirement will not be allowed to go on the extended field study that year.  This may result in the loss of deposits and payments.

Snacks:  Students are allowed a brief snack time (5-10 minutes) during their third period class.  They are only allowed to eat HEALTHY snacks during this time.  Refer to page 16 in the parent/student handbook for more details.

Clothing:  Shirts must cover the midriff, back, navel, underarms and cleavage at all times.  Shoulder straps on tops must be at least 1 inch wide (no spaghetti straps).  Shorts and skirts must be long enough so that when your arms are relaxed at your sides, the fabric extends below the middle finger.  See page 21-22 of parent/student handbook for more about the dress policy.  Students not wearing proper attire will call a parent to bring in a change of clothes.

Internet Use:  Students should be using class computers for school work only.  If students misuse the computers, or their class time, they may have their computer privileges suspended on a class by class basis.

Personal Electronic Devices:  Cell phones are to be turned off and in the student's locker when the bell rings at 8:20 AM until the dismissal bell rings at 3:20 PM.  If a cell phone is out between 8:20-3:20 it will be taken by the teacher and taken to the office where the student can pick it up at the end of the day.  A teacher may also hold onto the phone and ask that a parent pick it up. Personal computers or tablet are not allowed unless a student has written permission from administration.
