My teaching career began in EWRSD when I was a student teacher in kindergarten in 2003, followed by a full-time teaching career in 2004. I taught 3rd grade, basic skills and enrichment, first grade and kindergarten, spending most of my time in the latter. Kindergarten is a crucial, fundamental first step into education; it is, by far, the most rewarding, exciting grade to teach. Throughout my years in education it has also become my passion. To experience and witness the massive transformation, growth and maturation that actualizes in kindergartners, within the scope of just ten months, is nothing short of amazing. Kindergarten is truly a "garden" where young minds blossom and grow! I can't wait to share my excitement, knowledge and classroom with you and your child!
