Ms. Schad - ESL

Hello! Hola! Bonjour! Marhaba! Nǐ hǎo! Namaste!

My name is Ms. Schad and I am one of the ESL teachers here at EMK. I have a masters degree in Applied Linguistics and have been teaching ESL for several years. My goal with each student is to provide them with support in English language acquisition. 

I work with students in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. 

ESL lessons cover the 4 language domains: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. Students are taught with these specific areas in mind. I cover additional everyday vocabulary students need to understand lessons with their classroom teachers. I build a foundation for the students so that they can learn and understand during the school day.
