Students and Books Get a

Second Chance at the Library

Starting Monday, January 12th, if students have overdue books and/or magazines, or if they have unpaid fines, they will no longer be able to checkout fiction books and magazines from the regular library shelves. Anyone with overdue books and/or magazines or unpaid fines will be able to choose books from the new "Second Chance" shelves in the library. The books on the Second Chance shelves are getting a second chance to be chosen by a student after having been removed from circulation due to damage, age wear and tear, duplication, or lack of interest. Students will be getting a second chance to checkout books from the library.  Second Chance books are still due back to the library in three weeks from checkout date.

Sixth Grade Library Orientation PowerPoint Slideshow
Dear Parents,
Our district has purchased a subscription to the Parent U Internet Safety video series, produced by Educational Service District 112 in Vancouver, WA. These five videos provide parents with an overview of the Internet, and share important information about the ways in which our children are using it. Key topics include social media, mobile devices, cyber-bullying, sexting and more. By viewing these videos, parents will gain insights and ideas on how to talk to their children about staying safe online. These five videos are listed and described on this flyer. Use the following information to access the video series online:
