Eagle’s View Academy is honored to announce the 2012 Tournament of Champions to be held March 15-17, 2011, hosted by the 2005, 2007, and 2008 1A State Champion Eagle’s View Academy Warriors. Head Coach Terrance Freeman has invited six prestigious baseball programs from around Florida to compete in Jacksonville for a weekend of excellent competition. This year’s Tournament of Champions schools represent 13 State Titles and several top prospects.

The Tournament of Champions started at a coaches baseball conference, where the great idea to bring competitive, state championship caliber baseball to one location to compete was a topic of conversations. Eagle’s View Academy seized the opportunity, and in the Tournament of Champions inaugural year, it attracted nationally ranked programs to lead the field. It has since grown and welcomed top Georgia high school programs to join in this competitive atmosphere of high school baseball. This year’s event brings top prospects and competition for fans, college coaches, and pro scouts to enjoy.

Participating schools in the 5th Annual Tournament of Champions are: the Providence Stallions (2008, 2003 FHSAA 2A Champion), the North Florida Christian School Eagles (2011, 2007, 1995, FHSAA 2A Champions), the Eagle’s View Academy Warriors (2008, 2007, 2005 FHSAA 1A Champion), the Palatka Panthers (1975, 1965, 1929, FHSAA Champions), and the Baker County Wildcats.

Host locations for this year’s Tournament of Champions are The Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville, Florida State College of Jacksonville, and the University of North Florida. We hope you enjoy the top baseball facilities in the Jacksonville area and the great city of Jacksonville.
