• Driven by results! Going from good to great. North Broadway is an EUSD school that is EXTREMELY passionate about producing results! We plan ahead based on current results and the most up-to-date information. We're doing that days before our children step foot on our campus. That's just common sense when you're creating learning miracles in our EUSD public schools. Besides, our children deserve it!

  • LCAP: Community Influence Check out our North Broadway School Site Council! Teachers and parents working together to generate ideas about how to continue enhancing "The North Broadway Way." What works well at our school? What can we get better at? What are some new ideas for intervention and enrichment opportunities for our students? Our community influences our decisions. Thank you, School Site Council, for a great discussion! We are looking forward to implementing our new ideas!

  • Learning Miracles CAN and WILL Happen... Struggling + Re-evaluating = Learning at North Broadway! There are many levels at which we learn something new. We understand that at the North Broadway Learning Zone. We memorize, we conceptualize, we summarize, we synthesize... and sometimes we make mistakes. Don't you? www.code.org (Hour of Code) is just one more opportunity for us to try something new, struggle a little, re-evaluate our process, and think critically about a better solution. Sound complicated? Not really... It's how we learn. Let's give it a try! :)

  • Deep Thinkers and Their Community Last year our school applied for and received a generous grant of $35,000 from the Escondido Charitable Foundation. ECF is committed to growing a stronger Escondido community, and North Broadway is committed to that cause. We are now becoming a "S.T.E.M." school by incorporating more Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics into our learning zones (classrooms). By doing this, our students are developing the skills necessary to think critically, be innovative, and ultimately add value back to our great community. Here's a sneak peek of one of our 5th grade learning zones in our hands-on science lab!

  • Using Peach Jar Makes Sense (and Cents!) This is the amount of paper we would have used in the past, per student, to communicate with our NB families. Now, thanks to Peach Jar, our flyers are online. Do the math... 650 students! That's a savings of about $1,600 for our school! Look at the left sidebar of our website to access Peach Jar for updated electronic flyers.

  • Some last-minute community "beautification" at NB Making our school look nice for our families is really important to us. Check out some of our "former" North Broadway students contributing to that same belief. They came in over the weekend before school started just to make our school garden look perfect before day one, and then it's off to middle school. Thank you!
