Course Objective:

Advanced Placement English Literature and Composition is a college-level course requiring extensive reading at home, detailed reading in class, seminar-style discussions, academic presentations, frequent timed compositions, and several multi-draft essays. The purpose of this course is to further students’ abilities to read and write critically, preparing them for the AP exam and, more importantly, college.
