You have reached the home page for the Pervasive Systems research group at Loyola University Chicago. This group is part of the Computer Science Department and grew out of the Emerging Technologies Laboratory.

We're interested in all things systems and expanding the use of software architecture/frameworks to support scalable and robust systems software development in modern programming languages (think life beyond low-level programming).

In the coming weeks, we will be fleshing out this site with all of the work completed to date, along with some seed project ideas. Students who want to work with Drs. Läufer and Thiruvathukal (and Joe Kaylor, now working on his PhD at IIT) should be intimately familiar with this site before coming to us with requests for independent study, thesis ideas, etc.
