Our teachers

Cindy Lee

Cindy has 10 years of teaching experience in heritage Chinese school. She had training of being a Chinese language teacher for foreigners. She had three years of training as the Chinese teacher for high-schoolers in the StarTalk program, and five years of teaching Chinese to K-3rd grade at the LA ABC School District. She is a Montessori trained teacher and teaching Bilingual Montessori school Kindergarten students currently.

Wayne W. Ho

Wayne W. Ho​ is professional artist/designer/illustrator/toy prototype sculptor-designer, with work ranging from ​art direction, ​animation, editorial and advertising illustration to murals, ​graphic design, ​comic art​ and fine art, toy prototype design and sculpting in the greater Los Angeles and San Francisco bay area.  A ​graduate of Environmental Design @ UC Davis and Fine Art & Illustration@ Pasadena Art Center College of Design​, Wayne also has a 12yr professional teaching experience in teaching art​ & computer graphic​s​ ​to hundreds of kids and adults.  ​

Vincent W. Ho

Vincent W. Ho is graduate of Academy of Art University​ in San Francisco with an emphasis in graphics and game design.  Vincent has worked as a graphic designer, and has been a ​computer graphic​s​​ teacher for nearly half a decade.​

Ring Pai
Children's Show Choir

Ring Pai loves to sing, and she has many years of music experience with children and adults. Her singing and teaching roles have included hosting a children's TV show on GoodTV in Taiwan, singing in various bands in Taiwan and the U.S., and teaching children at Canaan Taiwanese Christian Church. Ring is fluent in Mandarin and English, and she lives in Fremont with her husband and 2 young boys.

Shirley Tai
Private Piano

Shirley Tai enjoys teaching piano, accompanying, and playing piano in bands and ensembles. She is a graduate of Stanford University, where she studied child development as well as piano performance. Her experience includes many years of working with children, choirs, musical productions, and churches. She and her husband have lived in the Bay Area for over 25 years, and they have two daughters. Shirley is a member of Music Teachers' Association of California. 

Shen-Ling Chuang
Ms. Shen-Ling Chuang received her Master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy from Butler University, Indiana. She had been a member of the Indiana Music Teachers Association for many years and had been a judge in the Piano Festival Competition. Ms. Shen-Ling has been teaching piano since 1981. For about ten years, Ms. Shen-Ling had been designing and organizing music programs in the Families with Children from China Association.  She also implemented her wonderful teaching methods of musical education for the Youth Music Group Camp of Butler University.  Ms. Shen-Ling had taught in the University of Taiwan for two years. Ms. Shen-Ling has won several educational awards for her creative approach to teaching from the youngest child to college level students, from private lessons to college of arts classes.

Xin Zhang

Xin Zhang was a former assistant professor at the Hebei Normal 
University (河北師範大學).  Recipient of the top department honor in Tianjin Conservatory of Music. She won the 2nd place in sliver award in the most prestigious Chinese Tian-Hua Cup National Erhu Contest of professional Youths (Top 7 nationwide). She won the first place in the statewide Hebei province professional Erhu Contest. She has issued a solo performance studio recording and published numerous Erhu etudes in prestigious publications and research papers in China's national journals. She held many recitals of solo performance. She has successfully fostered many accomplished students that have been admitted to top Chinese music conservatories and colleges. She is first Annual Los Angeles International Chinese traditional Musical Instrument Competition (Northern California District) Chairman of the Judge Panel. Xin is available for performance/concert and private/group lessons in the Bay Area.
