Technology Outreach And Support Team
This site is to help Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVIs) determine a starting place for assistive technology for students who are blind or visually impaired. When considering assistive technology we recommend that you work with your local technology specialist to ensure compatibility with existing technology systems.

There are three steps: selecting age/grade, acuity, and type of task. At the end of the three steps you will find suggestions, ideas, and links to additional resources and vendors. These are not a part of the TOAST site and are meant as examples and possibilities.
