Session 1-2:
Leveraging Google Drive and Forms to Rock Your TPEP Evaluation
Skill Level: Beginner
Audience: Teachers

More and more accountability is being demanded of teachers all across the nation. Sometimes it might feel like you spend more time proving you are doing your job then actually getting to do it! By leveraging Google Drive and Google Forms to aid in the documentation of the amazing work that they do, teachers can get back to focusing on doing what they do best: teaching!

Here in Washington State we use the Teacher/Principal Evaluation Program (TPEP). By creating folders in Google Drive that are aligned with the TPEP criteria and by creating course evaluation surveys in Forms are that aligned as well, teachers can not only gather and organize TPEP artifacts, but they can also get meaningful feedback from students that can transform teacher practice.

Session 3:
Google Forms for Surveys, Quizzes, and More!
Skill Level: Beginner
Audience: All Audiences

Google Forms can be a phenomenal way to gather formative assessments and make informed, in-the-moment instructional decisions so that you can lead your students into learning. Automated grading? Yes, please! Forms are also a great way for you to connect with your students and gather meaningful feedback about your instruction.

Forget SurveyMonkey! Forms can also be incredibly useful for administrators and staff members looking to get feedback from their staff and parents.

No previous experience with Forms is required. Come as a beginner, get some hands-on experience, and leave an expert!

Session 4:
Edmodo + GAFE = Personalized Learning
Skill Level: Intermediate
Audience: Teachers

With school districts all around the world going Google for Education, many teachers are switching from their previous LMS to Google Classroom. While there are a lot of benefits to using Classroom, GAFE can still be integrated easily with other platforms, such as Edmodo. Since Edmodo offers a number of robust features that Google Classroom does not, there are a number of student-centered reasons why teachers should consider using it!

In this session, teachers will learn about how to integrate Edmodo and GAFE. A brief presentation about how Edmodo and GAFE can be used to facilitate project-based learning will be given, and teachers will leave with all the prerequisite skills needed to begin integrating Edmodo and GAFE in their classrooms.
