Red Sky Performance - theatre, music & dance

  • lively and instructional workshops that introduce children, youth and adults to the world of theatre, dance and music.  
  • Raven Stole the Sun is based on the Tlinglit legend, is a very captivating performance which includes music, dance and narrative. The show is ideal for grades K-6 but is also suitable for junior high. It is a 45 minute show and a Q & A can happen after if the school chooses.

Wilson Bearhead (Nakota) is a member of the Wabamun Lake Indian Band in Treaty 6 territory, Alberta.  He has served as a Chief in his community, the Grand Chief of the Confederacy of Treaty 6 First Nations and Alberta Regional Chief for the Assembly of First Nations.  Wilson has served his people for many years as a koashka tayzun (traditional helper) in ceremony and community events. Wilson Bearhead is an approved vendor with Edmonton Public Schools.
