Subpart C Air Programs (CFR 40 Parts 50 to 99)

Air Permitting & Compliance Services

Concern about the quality of indoor and outdoor air has increased dramatically since the passage of the 1990 Clean Air Act (CAA). Under the CAA, states are now required to strictly regulate air emissions from a variety of private, commercial and industrial sources.  ENSAT offers the following services designed to assist our clients with general air quality issues and compliance with the CAA:

  • Air Permitting: VDEQ New Source Review
  • Air monitoring and testing
  • Exposure assessment
  • Indoor air quality studies
  • Compliance Audits, Reports and Plans
  •  Emission control systems
  •  Organic and Inorganic Sampling and Analysis
Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs)  have very strict emissions and permitting requirements under current regulation.  If MSDS's for your process list chemicals on the linked HAP's list, a facility air permit evaluation should be considered.
