The homework 5 deadline has been extended and it is now due on Thursday, February 21 at 12 noon. No late submissions will be accepted. Please do only problem numbers highlighted in yellow: 5.6, 5.8, 5.9, 5.12(a), 5.16(a)(b).

Homework 5 has been posted under the Homeworks tab on the website. It is due on Tuesday, 19th February at 12:00 pm via Gradescope. Late submissions will be not entertained as the solutions are released immediately.

Professor Dey will not be holding office hours on Tuesday, 12th February at 1 pm as he will be out of town. The class will be conducted by another professor, so please do attend the class.

Homework 3 has been posted under the Homeworks tab and the solutions of Homework 2 have been posted. Homework 3 is due on Thursday, 31st January by 12 noon via Gradescope. Late submissions are not allowed as the solutions will be posted on the website immediately after the deadline.

Homework 2 has been posted under the homeworks tab and the solutions to homework 1 have also been provided. It is due on Friday, January 25th 9 pm. Instructions pertaining to homework submission have been updated as well. No deadline extensions will be given.
