Welcome!
Hello! My name is Britt Kotiw and I am happy to be here. This is my first year at Emmons, and I could not be more excited! I come to you as a recent graduate from Illinois State University with a degree in English Education. I spent 6 months working in a special education classroom in Highland Park after graduating before joining the staff here at Emmons.
My passions include basketball, music, reading, writing, and my puppy--a Shih Tzu named Coco Chanel (pictured below).
This year, I'll be teaching 8th grade ELA, 7th grade Communications, and co-teaching a 5th grade ELA class.
