Welcome Watch D.O.G.S.

What is the Watch D.O.G.S. program?

WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) is a one-of-a-kind, school-based father involvement program that works to support education and safety.

Who are Watch D.O.G.S.?

Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.

What do Watch D.O.G.S. do during their visit?

Watch D.O.G.S. spend the entire day at school working alongside our students and teachers. They start their day by greeting our students as they enter the building and end their day when students are dismissed. Throughout the day they visit several classrooms and participate in a variety of activities with students. They eat lunch with their child and participate in games and activities at recess.

How can I sign-up to be a Watch D.O.G.S. volunteer?

Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who wish to sign-up should complete the registration form and return it to school with their child. Once your registration form is received, a member of the Watch D.O.G.S. team will contact you to coordinate your visit.
