Our region remains at the high risk level for COVID-19. During this time we continue to adhere to the guidelines provided by our local health department, Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission. Please keep your child home and notify Mrs. Carberry if:
your child is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or is being tested for COVID-19 (remain home until test results are received).
your child has had close contact (has been within 6 feet of an infected person for 15 minutes or more during a 24 hour period) with a person with COVID-19.
someone in your household is diagnosed with or being tested for COVID-19 (remain home until test results are received).
someone in your household has COVID-19 compatible symptoms (remain home until the test results are received)
your child has traveled outside of New Jersey to any country or U.S. state, with the exception of New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Delaware ( a 10 day quarantine or a full 7 day quarantine with a negative COVID-19 test is strongly recommended upon return).
These measures in addition to washing your hands, social distancing, wearing a mask and staying home while sick will help fight the spread of COVID-19 both in school and the community. Please reach out with any questions or concerns vcarberry@emersonschools.org
