Students from the Emerson Jr-Sr High School will be showing you “It’s Good to Be a Nun” by bringing Sister Act to the stage this March.
The show is guaranteed to be one that will have you singing along and grooving in the aisles.
Sister Act, the musical, is based on the movie starring Whoopi Goldberg. It is a hysterical, uplifting tribute to the power of friendship, with the witty diva Deloris Van Cartier, using her distinctive dance moves and singing talent to build-up a failing church choir – all while in witness protection disguised as Sister Mary Clarence!
Musical theater instructor Bill Ullman raves the music is “Fabulous, Baby”. Our talented cast will get you singing and guarantee you’ll want to “Raise Your Voice”.
Shows will be held on March 8th, 9th, 15th, and 16th at 7:30 pm; and on March 10th and 16th at a 2:00 PM matinee at Emerson Jr-Sr High School, 131 Main Street, Emerson, NJ.
Pre-purchase your $15 tickets before they’re all gone by calling the Emerson High School main office between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM at 201.599.4178 x1302. Book early or you “Haven’t Got a Prayer” of getting in! Emerson Jr-Sr student tickets are $5.00 if purchased in advance. Emerson, NJ Senior Citizens can receive a free admission ticket at the March 10th Matinee. So come enjoy the show and “Spread The Love Around”!
