Team America is composed of Justin Bounds, Josh Gidlow, Adam Jones, and Deric Nix.  The project consists of performing ASME code calculations on different flange types and attempting to find relationships between the calculated structural stress in the flange to the seal pressure on the gasket between flanges.  Tests will be conducted at the ExxonMobil Chemical Co. site in Baton Rouge, LA to determine the pressures at which different flange configurations leak.
