The Ruiz research group is in the Department of Geosciences.  The lab is Headed by Joaquin Ruiz.  The consists of an NTIMS, a GV ICP-MS multicollector (Isoprobe) with a 193 nu laser ablation attachment.  Research spans work in archeology, tectonics, petroleum geology, geochemistry and ore deposits.  The lab focuses on Re-Os, U-Pb,  and transition metal isotope measurements.
