The Elms College IT Policy Manual is a list of comprehensive policies designed to safeguard Personal Information and technology resources at the College.
The Information Security Awareness Training program is an annual requirement for all Elms College employees and new hires.
The Acceptable Use Policy for Technology Resources stipulates the terms that users must agree to in order to access Elms College technology resources.
The Written Information Security Policy (WISP) is a set of policies and guidelines implemented in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations regarding the collection of personal information as defined in MA 201 CMR 17.
Appendix documents to secure authorization or access to protected information resources.
These policies apply to all Elms College employees and contractors including: full and part-time faculty, staff and administration, seasonal, temporary, casual, interim, and volunteer employees, independent contractors, consultants and vendors (herein referred to as Elms College workforce members) and covers all off site locations.
Each employee is required to read, understand, and comply with all Elms College technology policies and to participate annually in the Information Security Awareness training program. Any employee or workforce member who willfully or without authorization accesses, discloses, misuses, alters, destroys, or otherwise compromises data classified as sensitive data, or who fails to comply with this Policy may be subject to legal action and/or disciplinary action under applicable Elms College administrative policies.
