Meet Our Writing Consultants

Our writing consultants are current full-time undergraduate students from a variety of majors.  Read on to learn a bit about our writing consultants for the 2016-2017 academic year.  All writing consultants are trained and ready to help you with any writing assignment for any course.  If you are interested in becoming a writing consultant, watch for ads posted on the Writing Center website and Facebook page in the spring.  

The Writing Consultants

Jeremy Boorum '20 is a business administration and American studies double major with plans to pursue a M.B.A. after Elmira College.  Currently, Jeremy is the President for Campus Activities Board as well as a member of Enactus and an Orientation Leader.  In his free time, Jeremy is both an avid concertgoer and vinyl record collector. Either way, you can always hear him cranking up his favorite rock tunes.

Olivia Cacchione '19 is a marketing and economics double major from Sterling, NY. She is the vice president of Circle K, director of the Enactus Twin Tier Ties Expo, and a Phi Beta Kappa prize winner. She is also a member of Orchesis, Phi Eta Sigma, and the Honors Program. When she finds time, she enjoys reading, painting, and napping.

Rachel Leben '19 is a sociology and anthropology major, with a minor in women's and gender studies. She participates in various clubs on campus and enjoys attending plays and musicals whenever she can, as well as helping out in her community's progression towards diversity.

Anna Liebelt '19
is a psychology major at Elmira College with plans to attend grad school after she graduates. In addition to being a writing consultant, Anna is also an Orientation Leader on campus, an active member of the Ski Club, the Community Kitchen chair for Circle K, and has played saxophone in the EC Ensemble. She enjoys skiing, boating, traveling, and, of course, Starbucks.

Liam Mason '19 is a psychology and English double major. In addition to working at the Writing Center, he works on campus as a tutor for psychology courses, is the Treasurer of Psi Chi, and a member of both the American Red Cross Club and the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. He enjoys reading and writing novels in his free time.

Cierra Marino '20 is an English and Art History double major. She is also a member of Phi Eta Sigma and the Honors Program. In her free time, Cierra enjoys reading, painting, and traveling. 

Holly Popple '20 is pursuing a major in Political Science, with minors in Spanish and Philosophy. After Elmira College, she plans to go to law school. She is a member of Orchesis, Red Cross Club, and the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. In her free time, you can catch her reading, watching YouTube, or dancing in Myer Dance Studio.
