Welcome Letter: First semester examines linear, quadratic, polynomial, and trigonometric functions and their graphs, domain and range, theory of equations, imaginary and complex numbers, exponential and logarithmic phenomena, and analytic geometry. Second semester is devoted to trigonometric identities, polar coordinates, complex numbers, vectors and determinants, sequences and series, matrices, probability and statistics. Throughout the course there is an emphasis on applications and the use of technology. A TI-83/84 Plus graphing calculator is required. On this site if you navigate along the left, you will find resources given in class. | Teachers of this course are: John Forsythe, Stacia Owens, and Leslie Stipe. jforsythe@elmhurst205.org sowens@elmhurst205.org lstipe@elmhurst205.org |
