1. John Zera (Franklin, 1976): Unsolved (a series from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)...high school freshman John Zera disappeared from school right after lunch. He was found in Whitnall Park a few days later. Suspects included a construction worker assigned to work at FHS, a local swim coach with an unusual obsession with the case and a full-time FHS substitute turned NBA scout.
2. Timothy Wicks (Hales Corners, 2002): Fatal Identity (a series from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)...local rocker Timothy Wicks left for Canada with his former accountant to play music up north. When friends tried to get a hold of him a few weeks later, all they found was a man named Timothy Wicks who had never heard of Timothy Wicks...a body without a head and hands was found shortly after, and the real work for investigators began.

Interesting cases
1. Timothy Pitzen: NY Daily News. His mother checked him out of school in 2011 and cited a family emergency. A few days later she was found dead in a hotel with a suicide note that explained to police they would never finder her son, and that he was with people who would care for him. In 2019, a boy has been found and claims to be Timothy Pitzen.
