Sample Sequences

These sequences of lessons dive deeper into game design.  We recommend that you first complete Lessons 1 - 5 in the Getting Started Lessons before moving on to these sequences.

These lessons focus on different disciplines: game design, art and storytelling, and STEM topics. Choose the sequence that is most appropriate for your class.

Pacing: The activities from gamestarmechanic.com take about 30 minutes. The lessons from the Learning Guide take about 1 hour.  If you decide to run both lessons together, your class will take about 1.5 hours to 2 hours.
