About me

I graduated from Fairfield University with a BA. Then, I attended Westfield State College where I earned my MEd and became certified in special education. I also earned a sixth year degree in special education technology at U Conn.

I have taught in public schools and collaboratives in Western Massachusetts. I have also worked as an assistive technology consultant in these settings.

Four years ago, my family moved from Western Massachusetts when the call center my husband managed relocated to Greenville. I have three boys. James will be a senior at Mauldin High School. Sam will be entering The University of South Carolina as a junior. Ben graduated from Brandeis College with a minor in Eastern Studies. He is now coaching gymnastics  in Singapore, where he has an opportunity to practice his Mandarin. We also have a silly little dog.

This is my third year at Einstein Academy. I took the Associate's Level of Orton Gillingham training in the summer of 2015. I loved it so much that I am currently taking the Level One of the Certificate Level course. I teach ELA and Math to sixth graders in the morning, and I am a reading tutor in the afternoon.
