This class will present a thorough introduction to practical communication in Spanish. We will be listening, speaking, reading, and writing en Español. Thematic units will include basic conversation, describing ourselves, friends & family, our school day, food, activities, home, and shopping. We will learn a variety of sentence structures in the present tense and introduce the past tense before the end of the year.

Check out the Course Info, Useful Links, and Pacing Guide for our year under Spanish 1 on the left menu.

Language is interactive! Practice and participation are essential to success in this class. Mistakes are welcome; they help us learn. You will receive credit for correcting your practices.

¡Vamos!
