Halloween doors:

Reminder that all regi classes should complete their Halloween door by 12pm on Friday to be judged. Winners get house points and an exciting special prize!

Active Girls day at Ross High; this Friday!

To take part in Active Girls Day tomorrow morning the PE staff will be running a bootcamp from 7.30am-8am.  All S1-S6 girls welcome to come along for a fun workout and a free healthy breakfast.  Lots of your female teachers will also be there, so get involved! Come and speak to your PE teacher for info.  Thanks, PE staff.


There will be a meeting in Mr MacLean’s room at break TODAY for any S1-4 pupils interested in going on the London-Paris trip in June 2017.

USA 2018- New York & Washington (current s2’s-s4’s only)

Times Square, The Empire State Building, The White House… interested??

Any pupils interested in this exciting opportunity to travel to the USA in 2018 with the school should come to a meeting in room 132 (Mr Munro) at lunchtime today for more information. Bring your lunch! J Miss Wilson.

Scottish Shield Match this FRIDAY 28th Oct, check the TeamAPP Match Event for more info and let Mr Irvine or Mr Moore know A.S.A.P. if you are Unavailable.

House competition:

S1-3 house completion running throughout November. We are looking for people in S1-3 to sign up to take part in an exciting bake off!  Competitors will work in pairs to complete a baking challenge and 2 pairs from each year will go through to a final that will take place at the end of November. Heats will take place at lunch times. Fa'side House captains will be round all junior regi classes on Friday for people to sign up - we are looking for 12 people from each year (will be working in 6 pairs). If too many people sign up names will be drawn out of a hat.

S5/6 Assembly

Friday morning at registration – please go straight to the Hall.


Volunteers wanted for the P7 Information Evening on Tuesday1st November 6.30-9.00.  Please see me for more information or sign up on the sheets outside the Common Room.

Can all 5th years in Fa'side who signed up to be a prefect please attend a compulsory meeting in the library at break TODAY Thursday (27th). If you cannot attend please see a house captain


Other Information

Next week is the last week of our come and try all ability cycling as part of the Big Bike Revival, we have Belhaven Bikes, Recharge Tranent and Quest 88 coming along as well as the smoothie bike, raffle, free prize draw, free snacks and wee freebies plus we have Pat who's coming along selling coffees, teas, drinking chocolate and Bovril to keep folks warm and of course folks get a shot on all the bikes and a wee short ride out .. We even took some bikes over the White bridge today ... Come along and enjoy the day at John Muir House car park in Haddington from 10 - 2  ... Come along and enjoy having s go on our bikes ...
