Activities Week

Science Club

Science Club isn’t on tomorrow, sorry for the late cancellation! We will be back after the holidays! Miss Adams and Miss Beggs

Non Uniform Day

There will be a non-uniform day on Wednesday 1st April, this will be organised by Citizenship pupils to raise money for Marys Meals. Proceeds will be split 50/50 between Marys Meals and the School Fund. £1 to Miss Latham in Room 8.


London-Paris 2016

There are still a number of spaces available of the London and Paris trip in June 2016 for S1-4 students. Please see Mr MacLean or Mr Morrison to collect an information letter. Those who have already been allocated places will be issued with a further letter this week detailing the payment schedule.

2016 Paris/Normandy Trip

Anyone interested in going on this trip please collect an information letter from Mrs Shanley asap.  This has a tear-off strip to complete to note interest.


Foodbank Collection

You will see from the excellent posters displayed around the school that Ross High is collecting for the local Foodbank in Tranent. There is information about what food to bring in on the posters. Please bring your food to the drop-off boxes in the library or the reception by Tuesday 31st March.   Any questions- please come and see Miss Wilson. Thanks.

‘Ross Rocks Reading’ – Week 22

It’s now WEEK 22 of the ‘Ross Rocks Reading’ challenge. This means that when you come back after the Easter holidays it will be week 25 and the last week of the challenge!

Some of you appear to be falling behind with your reading so please bring in your reading record and catch up! Your Register Teacher can only tick off your reading when you show your signed record sheet to them. This could be for 5 weeks, 12 weeks or the full 22weeks!

Remember your challenge is to read for at least TWENTY minutes, THREE times a week. Complete your record sheet, noting the amount of time you have spent reading, get this signed by your parent/carer and bring it to Registration on WEDNESDAY.
