Pupil DIS – Thursday 28th May 2015
Whole School Information
Please return any Library books and School textbooks you are no longer using, have lying in your houses, bags, lockers, classrooms etc and return them to Mrs Lumsden in the Library by the middle of next week. If books are not returned, then parents/guardians will be invoiced for the replacement cost of the book(s) during the summer holidays. The average replacement cost of a fiction book is £6.99 and a textbook can be anything from £8.99 to £16.99 in some cases so there could be some sizeable bills going out if books are not returned. Please get them back!

The pupil vote for blazers was close but the majority voted to introduce blazers in S1-3 next year. Over 70% of parents voted for the introduction of blazers into the junior school. This will now mean it is expected that all Ross HS pupils wear a blazer to school every day from August.
I believe the blazers will be a visual representation of the way this school continues to improve.
Blazers will be ordered via the website. More details will be shared with your parents where and how to do this.
Current S1-5 will have blazers fitted on Tuesday 9th June. Pupils will be given a note of the recommended size to take home.
