Shown below are the codes that will allow you to join your register class google classroom. Once you have joined you can start your first assignment, your S3 Progression Profile.
During the last year, you spent your class time in the CDT Department studying three subjects:
Engineering Science: Electronics including circuits, current ,voltage, logic, Yenka simulator. Mechanisms including structures, forces, bridge design.
Energy including kinetic, potential, electrical, heat, solar, and environment.
Graphic Communication: Orthographic projection including elevations and plans, using instruments.
Pictorial sketching including perspective, isometric, oblique.
CAD creating various models using Inventor.
Design&Manufacture: Design folio including design factors such as ergonomics, aesthetics, fitness for purpose, materials.
Manufacture: in the workshop, using appropriate skills with hand and machine tools, you made your design to a high quality.
Please note: the Graphic Communication Nat5 Exam 2015 is on Thursday 30th April.
In the last week before study leave, please complete the following tasks and activities as part of your ongoing revision. You will need to use the Leckie and Leckie books for this.

It's finally here, the S1 Robotics project. The S1 classes have been learning how to control a buggie using a Raspberry Pi. The pupils have meshed 'Scratch' to the piface and are now writing algorithm's to control them. Take a look at this video link.
