Recently the Engineering Tech Department purchased a Markforged 3D Printer to be used in the Engineering Design class. Students in the Tech Club will also have an opportunity to make good use of it.

Preparing the youth of today for the careers of the future is what Pierce County Career Day is all about! Too many students leave high school without an idea of what kind of jobs or careers are available in today's job market.

Pierce County Career Day is an innovative workforce development tool designed to provide high school students with hands-on exposure to diverse and growing careers, and to provide employers with a pipeline of professionals for tomorrow.

Through interactive exhibits students will discover the technical skills required to be successful and learn about internships, registered apprenticeships, training resources and careers in:

  • Construction
  • Aerospace
  • Engineering
  • Manufacturing
  • Utilities
  • Transportation



    STEM Club travels to State Conference 

Robotics Team consisting of Alec Hatfield, Garrett Hill, Kelly Monro, Ricci Seguban and Sarah Ottenbreit places 8th out of 44 teams in the VEX skills Challenge.

Animatronics Team consisting of Joey Casebeer, Trevor Anderson and Patrick Spieker placed 2nd

Ricci Seguban and Kelly Monro placed 2nd in the Biotechnology competition.

Patrick Spieker placed 1st in the extemporaneous speech category.

Overall a great first showing.
