Technopedagogue (Ontario, Canada)
As a Google for Education Certified Innovator, Google for Education Certified Trainer and a technopedagogue in support of provincial digital schools initiatives, I demonstrate how the effective use of technology in the classroom can strengthen pedagogy and increase student engagement. An engineer by training, but a teacher by nature, I offer professional development sessions across North America and beyond on the pedagogical integration of new technologies.

Teacher and Site Technology Mentor (Oakdale, California)
Amanda has led her district's 1:1 Chromebook pilot program and was one of the first two classrooms to implement their use on a daily basis, serving as a model classroom for other teachers who later received Chromebooks. In her role as Technology Mentor, Amanda provides staff development for teachers and helps them find innovative ways to use technology in their classrooms. She enjoys sharing her excitement and passion for using technology to make learning more engaging, relevant, and meaningful for both students and teachers.
