My name is Keren Aridor, I am a making my first steps as a doctoral student at the University of Haifa, within the mathematics education department, under the academic supervision of Dr. Dani Ben Zvi

I hold a B.A degree in Mathematics with specialization in computer science, from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and a M.A degree from the mathematics education department, at the University of Haifa.

My primary research interests deal with students’ reasoning about context and data while developing informal inferential statistical reasoning. I am interested in studying the relationships between such reasoning, focusing on aggregate view, to students' ability to describe a phenomena as a model and to make a data-based decisions, while taking into account Statistical ideas such as uncertainty, variation etc from one side, and its relationship or contribution to Statistical reasoning while handling large sets of data ("big data").
