|| Look out for our new School website - to be launched in the coming days!
Dear Members of the Edron Community,
On September 3, 1963, in a small house in the San Angel Inn neighbourhood of Mexico City, the doors of our school opened.
Fifty years ago today, two exceptional men, Edward Foulkes and Ronald Stech, established the Edron, a school that would be different from all other schools. As Mr Foulkes wrote in his essay A Confession of Faith, the institution had to be a place where, "every child would feel secure, wanted, cared for and free from tension and hostility."
Over these decades, thousands of children have gone out into the world imbued with academic excellence and a sense of having belonged to a place with a higher purpose. "Fuí al Edron" is a very special thing to say.
Today, along with all of you, we celebrate our fiftieth anniversary and hope that the best we can bring to our children still lies ahead.
