In 8th grade choir, we sing, attend OSSAA District Contest, and put on a winter and spring concert among other fun and fulfilling optional activities! Please note that the two biggest test grades are the performances below.  If there is a date conflict, please let us know ASAP to make other arrangements for these test grades! Other optional activities will be added as needed, and with notes/emails sent to parents/guardians. If you are enrolled in first semester only,  dates only apply for the semester you are enrolled in. If you decide to stay for the full year, you will need to fill out a schedule change form and turn it into the counseling office.

Parents and guardians, please:

  • Sign and date Vocal Music Contract and Edmond Public Schools Medical Excursion Form. (You can print one HERE if the original was lost.)

  • Ensure that your email and contact information on Infinite Campus is correct and up to date. Updates, reminders, and the Vocal Music Newsletter will be sent to that address.

Last year we invested in uniform polos! These will be loaned to you at no cost. If a polo is not returned or is returned damaged, a replacement fee of $20 will be applied.

Young men will need black slacks, black socks, a black belt and a black pair of shoes to wear with the polo. Polos should be worn tucked in.

Young women can choose to wear black slacks or a black skirt with their polo. Please do not wear leggings or yoga pants as slacks. Skirts should be of the “maxi” (floor length) style. Young ladies should wear black flats or heels- no sandals, sneakers, or excessively high heels.

T-Shirts:The purchase of a T-Shirt is required, as it will be our uniform for our Fall concert and any outings students may go on. The T-shirts are $10 and are yours to keep. Family members are also welcome to purchase a T-shirt! If the $10 is a financial burden, please let Ms. Pitts know.
