Welcome to the Tutor Centers website. The EHS tutor centers (Writing Center and SMath Center) are staffed by peer coaches and EHS staff members. Both centers provide a friendly, affirming environment where you can ask peer coaches for the help that you need!

Writing Center:

The Writing Center is available to help you, at any stage of the process, with any written assignment for any of your classes.

Location: Media Center Commons
Hours: We are open every period on 7 period and block days.  The Writing Center is closed during Flex Block and not currently available before and after school.

How to access the Writing Center:
9th and 10th graders: Elect to go to the Writing Center during your Student Prep or lunch time. Be sure to check in with the supervisor in the Writing Center. 

What to do:
Bring a copy of the assignment, brainstorming, outline or a draft of your essay. Whatever stage you are at, we are here to help.

Have an idea of what you would like to focus on during your writing conference. We can help with idea generation, drafting, writing, and revising...

Coaches are knowledgable and friendly.

SMath Center:

9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders: Elect to go to the SMath center during your Student Prep or lunch time. Be sure to check in with the supervisor in the SMath Center when you visit. stop in for a big question or even a little one. Experienced Smath tutors can help with all levels of math: Geometry, Algebra, FST, Calculus and more... 

Ask your teacher to have a tutor come to your classroom, to help answer questions.
