Welcome to Edgerton Local Schools!  I am Mrs. Huard, your Elementary School Counselor and K-12 Curriculum Coordinator.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Defiance College in 2004 and my Master of Science in Counseling Education from the University of Saint Francis in 2007.  I am currently studying Mental Health Counseling at Butler University.

My husband Tony and I have been married for 17 years and have two children, Cole and Elle.  When we're not spending time participating in the extracurricular activities of our children, we enjoy being outdoors, traveling, and hanging out with friends.

In my eleventh year as a school counselor, working with and advocating for children remains my passion.  I feel incessantly blessed to be a member of the Edgerton community and to serve the students, parents, and community stakeholders of Edgerton Local Schools.

In collaboration with teachers, parents, and community members, my mission is to prepare students with the academic, social-emotional, and college and career readiness skills necessary for success in the 21st Century.

I believe every student has the potential for growth, and deserves the right to an exceptional educational experience in a safe and nurturing environment.

Aligned with the professional and ethical standards of the American School Counseling Association, I will strive to maintain a data-driven, research based, and comprehensive developmental school counseling program.
