• Game Cancellations 4/20 The tennis match against Almont has been cancelled for 4/20 and postponed to 4/27.The JV and Varsity Softball matches against L'anse Creuse for 4/20 have been rained out. The games will be made up on Friday, 4/21.The Varsity baseball game at WWT has been rained out and will be rescheduled for Friday, 4/21. The game that was scheduled to be played at Richmond on 4/21 has been cancelled.

  • Tennis 4/13 - CANCELLED Due to transportation issues the Varsity Girls Tennis match at Yale has been cancelled. Attempts will be made to reschedule this match and the East Detroit match. More information will follow when it is available.The East Detroit match has been rescheduled for Monday, May 8th at 5:00.The Yale match has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 16th at 4:00

  • Baseball Games 4/13 There have been changes to the baseball game schedules for today. The JV will now be playing on the Ward Street field behind the track. The Varsity game scheduled to be played at Utica will now be played at HOME vs. Utica. Both double-headers are scheduled for 4:00 pm.

  • 4/25 Girls Track: MCHS 94 - 43 Sterling Heights Girls track had another win last night making our record 4-0. We had 21 athletes that PRed at this meet including all three hurdlers in the 100 and 300 hurdles.   • Student-Athlete of the Week: 2/20-2/25 Congratulations to Erin Badke, the Mariner Student-Athlete of the Week!!!Academic:Erin has earned one of the top GPA's in her class for the same reasons that she has been successful on the basketball floor-- an outstanding work ethic and a strong desire to excel. Her dedication to her academics and her athletics exemplifies what it means to be a true student-athlete.Athletic:Erin stepped up her game and took on a larger role on the Junior Varsity team this year, becoming the main point guard and one of the leading scorers. She was very coachable and a great role model for her teammates, as she always worked hard to improve.

She has shown much improvement throughout the years. She has also done a tremendous job teaching her basketball knowledge to our youth programs.Athletic:As our point guard, Antonia is asked to take care of the basketball and get the team organized on offense. She also is arguably the best defender that has ever played at MCHS. We know that her hard work in the classroom and on the court has paid off as she has committed to join the SC4 girls basketball team this fall.

  • Student-Athlete of the Week: 2/20-2/25 Congratulations to Luke Ames, the Mariner Student-Athlete of the Week!!!Academic:Luke is a senior this year with an impressive 3.3 GPA and a class load that includes college courses. He is a well rounded individual with intelligence, a sense of humor and the drive to succeed.Athletic:Luke has been an asset to the team this year. Beginning in October for preseason conditioning he lead the boys swim team in workouts that helped jump start our season of success. Luke is a captain and does the job well, he motivates the team, swims his events with very impressive times and always shows good sportsmanship. Luke is very deserving of the athlete of the week recognition.
