SummaryThe EMaCS project aims to encourage lifelong learning across a wide socio-cultural range. Partners investigated, designed and implemented a set of provisions that will support graduatesin following a collaborative, flexible masters level program that extends their opportunities to experience education, society and culture in a wide range of European countries.
The Master program should be designed to appeal to non-traditional students who may wish to study on a part-time and/or intermittent basis, in an international framework.

The major result is a methodology to create a two-year plan for a European Master Degree in Computer Science.

The pathways to the Master’s degree is formed from basic studies, traditional modules, short term modules and Master’s thesis and studies related.

The pool of participants involved in this project consisted mainly of experts of the most different Computer Science Areas, but also of experts in Intercultural Management and Languages. Those experts belong all to the teaching staff of the seven higher education institutions from six European countries.
