Attendance is extremely important to the success of students.  Our school district has an attendance policy that is outlined in Board Policy.  Attached below is the board policy and administrative procedures for attendance. Here are some highlights.
  • If you know you are going to miss school, notify the office and all facilitators before you are absent
  • If you missed school, notify the office within 48 hours.  Also notify your facilitators
  • Verified absences can be made up, contact the office for more information.
  • Any UNVERIFIED absence CANNOT be made up.
  • After 5 absent days in a single class a student will receive an LCA (loss of credit due to attendance) for that course.
  • If you were marked absence by mistake, meet with the facilitator and have he/she send Kelli an email.
  • Communication is the key for attendance.
