The Eaton RE-2 staff is dedicated to continuous school improvement and strives to provide high quality, ongoing professional development for its staff. Each year the Eaton Curriculum Council and the district administrators work to create a professional development plan based on student and community needs.


Credits earned through Professional Development or college course work may be used to advance on the salary scale and renew your license. According to School Board Policy all credit used for horizontal advancement on the salary schedule must have prior written approval. Graduate level credit should be approved by the superintendent and professional development credits by the director of curriculum and assessment. The superintendent must be notified in writing prior to the last working day in April of the teacher's intent to advance horizontally.
