The A+ Student website is to provide you with information concerning the various aspects of the A+ Schools Program as it was established by the Outstanding Schools Act of 1993. This legislation requires that East Prairie High School establish specific guidelines and policies in order to meet the stipulations of the program. It is the responsibility of the A+ School Coordinator to administer the A+ Program in a fair and consistent manner.
The first step toward participation in the program is the signing of an A+ Schools contract which requires the signatures of students and parents. It then becomes the responsibility of the student to continue to meet the requirements of the program as outlined in this handbook in order to be certified as an A+ student upon graduation.
This website is designed to present in a clear and consistent manner the guidelines and policies to be followed by the A+ School Coordinator. Eligible students graduating from an A+ high school may qualify for the student financial incentives of the A+ Schools Program. All reimbursements are dependent upon East Prairie High School maintaining its status as an A+ School and the availability of state appropriations from the Missouri General Assembly. Reimbursement is not the funding responsibility of the East Prairie School District.
The purpose of this website is to provide students, parents, and employees of the district with information about the guidelines and policies of the East Prairie R-II School District's A+ Schools Program. It is the responsibility of the students and parents to read, understand, and comply with the program requirements for eligibility. Please direct any additional questions concerning this program to the A+ Schools Coordinator, DeeDee Douglas at 649-3521, ext. 103 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
