Sand the Edges of your board
Measure, mark and create lines for where your nails should sit on the board and where you will drill holes for the eye screws.
When adding the eye screws, you will need to really screw them down low. You can use plyers or a screw driver to get it set into the wood. Your screw will poke out the other side, so you can add some hot glue on top of it isn't so pointy!
Hammer down the end of the nail so it sits as flat as it can. Then add your bead of hot glue to hold your nails in place. Pay attention to the direction you put your nails on- IT MATTERS!
Straighten out your bobby pins as best you can, but try not to break them.
Place the bobby pins over your two nails and make sure they are not touching each other. And remember that triangle shape/pattern with your nails.
Thread your 3rd nail over all the pins and through the opposite eye screw. This nail should be in the opposite direction. This can be tricky, so 4 sets of hands may be required.
Tune and tweak. This may take some time to find the best spot to put your bobby pins in so that you can find the cleanest sound possible for each pin.
Feel free to decorate using markers.
